Position Title: Systems Project Leader – Finance/Controlling

BASIC OBJECTIVE
Specific Job Content: This job is specifically related to the development and support of financial and controlling applications such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, profit center accounting, profitability analysis, cost center accounting and product costing. These applications are part of ’s global implementation of the SAP ERP system. The candidate should have at least 4 years experience in system design, implementation, and maintenance to increase business effectiveness, solve problems and assist in achievement of business goals. SAP experience is required. The candidate will be a member of a cross-functional team and in that role must be an excellent team player. Knowledge of financial business processes is strongly recommended. The candidate must be an independent worker, have good initiative and analytic thinking and possess effective communication skills, both spoken and written. Experience with program specifications, test plans, training documentation and procedures is required.
General Objective: Lead project teams. Direct the design and implementation of computer systems and programs to increase business effectiveness, solve problems and create new opportunities to assist in achievement of business goals. Prepare systems and program specifications, test criteria, project control and management reporting. Develop and monitor policies, procedures, and standards documents. Provide on-call support of systems. Write and execute scripts to control the execution of systems. Assist in establishing and maintaining service level agreements with customers. Establish and review capacity, utilization and other performance measures. Provide process consulting in systems and program products. Operates under general direction. Works with user management and user project leader to determine system objectives and solutions. Latitude for independent actions and decisions. Provide updates to Change Management team. Act as a mentor. Direct, schedule, motivate and coordinate the activities of IT staff, users and vendor personnel. The ability to read, write, and speak Mandarin, French or Mexican Spanish is a strong plus.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Functional Skills:
1. Provide spirited positive leadership of systems projects. Challenge obsolete practices, question accepted truths, and eliminate non-value-added processes. Develop practical systems scope that enhances the business function. Control the project scope, resources, and quality within budget and schedule to meet objectives.
2. Provide analysis, counsel, and direction to management and personnel of operating units to analyze problems and develop solutions as well as assure efficient operation of existing systems. Maintain an understanding of business processes and the implications of computer systems on these processes.
3. Direct, schedule, coordinate, and evaluate the efforts of information systems, user and vendor personnel assigned to a specific systems project.
4. Provide inputs for project review meetings and management presentations including general design review, project scheduling, test plan, system and program tactics and methods, system controls, procedures, documentation, and system implementation plan.
5. Prepare and publish systems project status reports. Comply with systems development standards, procedures, guidelines, priorities, and schedules.
6. Develop detail system and program specifications. Develop system documentation and user procedures. Prepare test data. Coordinate/perform system and program tests.
7. Participate in educational programs and professional societies involving supervisory skills, computing technology and systems methodologies.
8. Conduct educational programs involving company personnel relating to computing technology and specific projects.
9. Perform other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain or related field required.
2. 5 – 7years IT experience.
3. The ability to read, write, and speak Mandarin, French or Mexican Spanish is a strong plus.
